Rich Pickings at Apple Day
Apple juicing, honey tasting and medieval ‘mummers’ plays will be amongst
the many highlights at this years Apple Day at Blakesley Hall on Sunday
12th October.
Now in its seventh year, this popular annual free event is based around
Blakesley Hall’s wonderful orchards and gardens. There will be many apple
themed activities throughout the day including apple grafting
demonstrations and a Hunt the Golden Apple competition.
The day promises fun for all the family with gardening talks, morris
dancing, plant sales, a visit from the RSPB and activities for children.
There will also be apple juicing where visitors will be able to taste the
apple juice from the orchard.
