Birmingham’s brightest musicians to lighten up the Symphony Hall with music
Symphony Hall, Birmingham will host Birmingham’s brightest music talent in a unique concert to be conducted by City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra’s Assistant Conductor Michael Seal on Saturday 11 October,7.30 pm.
The exciting programme comprises of a thrilling performance by the famous Birmingham Schools Azaad Dhol Ensemble, followed by Symphony Hall debut of acclaimed CBSO Youth Orchestra Academy in Ligeti’s flamboyant Concert Romanesc.
The talented and vibrant City of Birmingham Young Voices and a specially assembled massed choir,Sing for All will raise the roof before the City of Birmingham Symphony orchestra takes the stage alongside Britain’s best loved young soloist Julian Bliss - in Malcolm Arnolds irresistibly Jazzy Concerto. Besides accompanying Julian Bliss who has been dubbed by some critics as the Wayne Rooney of the clarinet, the CBSO will also perform a couple of John Williams blockbusters movie sound tracks including music from Star Wars.
A concert fit for both the young and the young at heart!
