Warwickshire are pleased to announce that from 1st March 2010, to replace the old Pavilion Suite, there will be a state of the art facility on-site at Edgbaston Cricket Ground capable of accommodating up to 1000 people for conferences and 700 for banqueting.
The Grand Marquee will boast a private reception area with a 36ft bar, a 5m by 5m Outside Pagoda and will offer a flexible space that will have the capability to break down into smaller areas if and when required, making The Grand Marquee the ideal space for any event. So whatever event you are looking to organise, Edgbaston will be happy to put together a package tailored to suit your needs and requirements including outside catering options.
Zoe's Place Baby Hospice is organising a Las Vegas Ball in the Marquee, in association with Sainsbury's, with all proceeds going directly towards the new Coventry Hospice.
After viewing several venues in the local area, the fundraising staff said the following: “Edgbaston was chosen because of its high reputation and prestige and its fantastic location. The events staff were very enthusiastic about working with a charity and the marquee makes for a unique setting.”
