Drayton Manor Theme Park recruits for 2010 season

The award-winning Drayton Manor Theme Park is holding a Recruitment Day on Sunday 7th February.

The attraction, located near Tamworth, is looking to fill numerous vacancies. Staff are needed for positions in the following areas:
•    Retail – assistants for gift & souvenir shops
•    Ticketing staff and call centre operatives
•    Ride operators – attendants & operators
•    Catering – fast food chefs and food outlet assistants
•    Cleaning and Hygiene assistants
•    Guest Services personnel to help look after our visitors

Colin Bryan, the park’s Managing Director, said: “We need committed and enthusiastic people to help give our visitors a fabulous day out to remember during the 2010 season, which will be extra special as it is our 60th Anniversary year.

“Working at a theme park is like no other job. My family has been running Drayton Manor since it opened in April 1950 and no day is ever the same. It really is a fantastic place to work and we hope people will want to come and join our team.”

The Recruitment Day will take place in park’s Tower Suite from 10am onwards. Anyone interested in working at Drayton Manor Theme Park can come along to find out more about the positions available.

Successful applicants will receive an attractive pay and benefits package, including subsidised food and discounts on a whole range of purchases. No specific experience is necessary as full training will be given.

This year, the park will be open from Saturday 20th March to Sunday 31st October. Visit www.draytonmanor.co.uk for further information.
