The sound of big savings in the CBSO January Sale
It’s still dark and cold outside and reports of the economy are bleak, but the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra’s January Sale means concert-goers can keep their spirits up and get bargain prices to lots of fantastic concerts. From Saturday 17 to Sunday 25 January inclusive, the Orchestra are offering 25% off all CBSO-promoted concerts at Symphony Hall and Town Hall up to the end of July.
With reduced prices, the January Sale is an ideal opportunity to encourage someone to share your own passion for music and to persuade a neighbour, friend or relative to branch out with a CBSO concert in 2009.
Music Director, Andris Nelsons, will take centre stage in many of the performances; in addition, look out for guest appearances by Carl Davis, John Wilson, Sir Charles Mackerras and Walter Weller as well a chance to take part in a singalong of Mozart’s Requiem with the CBSO in April. You will also get a chance to dust of your sequins with the winner of Strictly Come Dancing 2008,Camilla Dallerup at the Symphony Ballroom in May and enjoy the immortal Broadway tunes of showman Leonard Bernstien in July.
The Sale excludes Schools Concerts and the CBSO Benevolent Fund concert and tickets are limited to four per booker per concert and cannot be combined with any other discount, except discounts for disabled patrons.
