See England's World Badminton Champions at the NIA

It promises to be a treat for English Badminton fans everywhere - our World Championship medallists take on the world once again for the prestigious Yonex All England Open Badminton Championship titles at The NIA Birmingham from March 7 - 11.

For 2007 the Yonex All England is not only a crucial tournament for the top players in pursuit of Olympic qualification points, it will also boast its highest ever prize money of $200,000!

Last year, for the second year in a row, a record crowd for the All England at The NIA, Birmingham, witnessed a wonderful performance from England’s Olympic Silver medallists Nathan Robertson and Gail Emms.  Unfortunately they ultimately lost in the final to their great rivals, double Olympic Champions Zhang Jun and Gao Ling, but we wait with eager anticipation to whether Nathan and Gail can win back the title they won in 2005.

There’s so much to see at The Yonex All England Championships this year.  Aside from our silver medallists there is the astonishing speed of China’s Lin Dan, all time Danish great Peter Gade, our own Commonwealth Women’s singles Champion Tracey Hallam, who recently beat World Champion Xie Xingfang at the Malaysian Open, and many, many more of the world’s greatest players.  And don’t miss the great bargains in the renowned Yonex Retail Village!

Tickets are priced at £11 on Wednesday, £15 on Thursday, £17 on Friday, £20 on Saturday and £22 on Sunday, subject to booking and transaction fees, and can be booked by calling The NIA on 0870 010 9079 or online at www.necgroup.co.uk.
