National College for High Speed Rail
The National College for High Speed Rail is the largest of five national, employer-led colleges, which has been created by the Government to help students develop world-class skills.
The College will play a major role in offering training for career opportunities that people may never have considered. Our Apprenticeship in High Speed Rail and Infrastructure offers a generic core, followed by a choice of seven pathways. The new level 4 Certificate in Higher Education, accredited by Sheffield Hallam University offers a full-time route into the industry, students can then progress onto either an apprenticeship or our Level 5 full-time Foundation Degree. The college will play a key role in generating the workforce of the future, who will design and build the UK’s new high-speed rail network, as well as future infrastructure projects. The college is supported by hundreds of businesses, and students are taught by experts in state-of-the-art buildings, fitted with the latest specialist equipment.
